Cancellation Policy

TERMS AND CONDITIONS Booking may be made through our website, or by email or by post on completion of a booking form. Full payment is required to confirm bookings online. No cancellation permitted within 14 days of the commencement of the course .If the course is cancelled by us, a full refund will be given. 25% deposit may be paid for bookings made more than 28 days before the course begins for other bookings. Email bookings will be acknowledged within 5 working days. Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of full payment or deposit and receipt of payment or booking form or both will indicate that our Terms and Conditions have been accepted. The deposit is non-refundable once a booking is accepted. All bookings will be confirmed by email by the issue of a booking confirmation and joining instructions. The balance of fees must be paid 28 days prior to the course start date to facilitate the booking of the course venue. If the balance of fees is not received 28 days before the course commencement date, Shaw2Shore Training reserves the right to cancel the booking and offer it for resale- final reminders will NOT be sent and the client remains liable for the balance of fees. Bookings made less than 28 days before the course commencement date must be accompanied by full payment. Bookings from those under 18 can only be received if accompanied by a parent or guardian taking the same course. PRIVACY POLICY The centre will keep records of students and a copy of the relevant booking terms and conditions in place at the time, for a minimum of 12 months or until the next RYA inspection of the centre, whichever is the longer period, thereafter they will be deleted. On successful completion of your shorebased course your name, contact details, date of birth, certificate number and date of issue will be shared with the RYA through a secure web portal on www.rya.org.uk. The data will be stored on the RYA’s central database. This information allows the RYA to record your qualification, to update any records they may hold for you, and to verify or replace your certificate if required.
